Direct Link Corporation operates Carprolive, LotFlare, and related business software, communications, advertising, inventory, website, support, and integration services. This Privacy Policy explains how Direct Link Corporation ("Direct Link," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, discloses, and protects information when people and businesses interact with these services.

This policy applies to dealerships, dealership employees, customers, vehicle shoppers, website visitors, advertising users, connected-account users, and others who use or communicate with our services.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Direct Link Corporation services, including Carprolive and LotFlare, and to associated websites, applications, forms, advertising campaigns, support channels, communications tools, and connected-account features that link to this policy.

A dealership or other customer may maintain its own privacy policy for information it collects independently. When we process information on behalf of a dealership, that dealership's privacy practices may also apply.

Email newsletters or promotional email communications, when offered, are separate from our SMS program. Agreeing to receive email does not provide consent to receive text messages.

4. SMS Communications

SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchasing or using any Direct Link Corporation service.

Authenticated Carprolive users may voluntarily opt in to receive text messages from Direct Link Corporation. Users are shown the SMS disclosure and must affirmatively select the option to receive text messages. Declining SMS consent does not prevent access to Carprolive.

Text messages may include one-time login or verification codes, account and security alerts, scheduled maintenance or service interruption notices, and customer-care communications. We do not send promotional text messages through this SMS program.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for assistance, call (888) 890-5022, or contact us using the information below. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Mobile information, text messaging originator opt-in data, and consent will not be sold, rented, transferred, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not share text messaging originator opt-in data or consent with third parties or affiliates. We may disclose it only to telecommunications carriers, messaging aggregators, and service providers acting on our behalf solely as necessary to operate and deliver the SMS program.

These SMS restrictions apply notwithstanding any other information-sharing provision in this Privacy Policy.

5. Google, Meta, and Other Connected Accounts

When an authorized user connects an advertising or technology account, we may access, use, store, and update information necessary to provide the requested integration. For example, an authorized Google Ads connection may allow us to retrieve accessible customer IDs, create or manage campaigns and budgets, update campaign settings, read performance information, and maintain authorized access.

We may securely retain access tokens, refresh tokens, customer IDs, account IDs, permissions, and related authorization information so authorized features can continue after the initial connection. We use connected-account information only for service-related functions requested or authorized by the account owner, such as campaign management, inventory-feed management, reporting, troubleshooting, and support.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Users may revoke connected-account access through the applicable provider or by contacting us. Revocation may disable features that depend on that connection.

6. Advertising Platforms, Cookies, and Tracking

We and our customers or service providers may use cookies, pixels, tags, scripts, analytics, conversion tracking, and similar technologies to operate websites, remember preferences, measure advertising performance, track conversions, improve services, build audiences, and deliver relevant advertising.

These technologies may be provided by companies such as Google, Meta, Facebook, Instagram, website hosts, and analytics providers. Those companies may process information under their own privacy policies and platform terms.

Browser and device controls may allow users to limit cookies or advertising personalization. Disabling these technologies may affect functionality, measurement accuracy, or personalization.

7. How We Share Information

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to provide services, fulfill an authorized request, operate a dealership account or advertising campaign, protect our systems, or comply with legal obligations. Recipients may include:

  • The dealership or business associated with an account, lead, or campaign.
  • Authorized advertising platforms such as Google and Meta.
  • Website hosting, data storage, analytics, email, lead-delivery, communications, and technical service providers.
  • Inventory feed providers, dealership website providers, and authorized technology partners.
  • Payment processors and billing providers.
  • Government, regulatory, or legal authorities when disclosure is required or permitted by law.
  • A successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.

Service providers are authorized to use information only as necessary to perform services for us or as otherwise permitted by law. We do not sell personal information for direct monetary payment.

The sharing activities in this section exclude mobile information, text messaging originator opt-in data, and SMS consent. That information is governed exclusively by the SMS Communications section above.

8. Lead Information

When a consumer submits a lead form, information request, call request, email request, or similar inquiry associated with a dealership campaign, the submitted information may be delivered to that dealership. The dealership may use it to respond to the inquiry or provide information about vehicles, financing, services, or related offerings.

Once information is delivered to a dealership, the dealership may process it under its own privacy policy and business practices. A consumer lead submission does not, by itself, provide Direct Link Corporation with consent to enroll that consumer in the Carprolive SMS program.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These measures may include access controls, authentication, encryption where appropriate, logging, monitoring, backups, and vendor-management practices.

No website, system, transmission, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Users and dealerships are responsible for protecting their passwords, devices, connected accounts, and internal permissions.

10. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain accounts and authorized connections, manage campaigns, preserve business records, fulfill contractual obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, address security matters, and comply with law.

Retention periods vary based on the type of information, account status, operational need, platform requirement, and applicable legal obligation. Information may be deleted or de-identified when it is no longer reasonably needed.

11. Consumer Choices and Privacy Requests

Depending on applicable law and where a person lives, that person may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of certain personal information, or to object to or opt out of certain processing, sharing, or targeted advertising.

Some advertising and tracking activities may be treated as "sharing," "targeted advertising," or a "sale" under certain privacy laws even when no money is exchanged. Users may manage some choices through browser, device, Google, Meta, Facebook, or Instagram settings, or contact us to submit a request.

We may need to verify the identity and authority of the person submitting a request. Applicable law may permit or require us to retain certain information or deny part of a request.

12. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that such information was collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it as required by applicable law.

13. Third-Party Websites and Services

Our services, advertisements, inventory listings, forms, or communications may link to third-party websites or services. Direct Link Corporation is not responsible for the content, security, terms, or privacy practices of third parties. Users should review the applicable third-party policies.

14. Dealership and Customer Responsibilities

Dealerships and other business customers are responsible for ensuring that their websites, privacy policies, cookie notices, forms, advertising disclosures, customer communications, and information-handling practices comply with applicable laws and platform requirements.

They are also responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to provide inventory, photos, pricing, account access, customer information, and other content to our services.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will post the revised policy and update the effective or last-updated date. When required, we may also provide additional notice or request consent before materially changing how information is used.
